The Upakar Foundation is pleased to present the Emerging Artists Series, debuting with Indian-American comedian Aparna Nancherla. Aparna grew up in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and will be returning to her hometown to perform two benefit shows on behalf of Upakar.
The shows will take place on Friday, June 10 at 7 and 9:30 pm at The Heritage Center at the United States Navy Memorial. The Memorial is located at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, a stone's throw from the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro station on the Green and Yellow lines.
